Wonder

I love just watching my children as they go about their day. They are so different yet so similar. One likes to panic but gets the job done. Another struggles to grasp but once she gets it then there is no stopping her. The other well spends to much time worrying for my liking.

Two people came together and created four amazing girls. So beautiful, clever and so loving.

It is when I look at them I find wonder in God. Each one of us is unique. Can you imagine the designing of each of us. The slight differences even identical twins have. Our minds cannot comprehend such a task.

Look at the stars in the sky, the flowers in the garden, the snowflakes when they fall. All perfect in there own way.

I confess to not completely understanding creation the vast enormity of the world, space, galaxy is beyond my wildest imagination. There is so much I don’t understand.

As I watch my children play I wonder about the life they will live. Will they fall in love, be happy. I want to wrap them up and protect them from the heartache and pain that life can sometime bring.

I know I can’t do this, I’ve learned this the hard way. That ours lives are sometimes beyond our control.

Yet I take comfort In the knowing that the one who created the universe holds my children close.

Mark 10:14-16 (NIV)
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. [15] I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” [16] And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.

About sarawith4

I'm a stay at home mom who loves her faith and and family. I am a new christian and still learning about the glory and grace of our Lord. I'm also a grieving mom who has to try each day to smile. Knowing my child is with the Lord brings me comfort but doesn't take away the pain of missing them.
